Some couples shoots that I have done lately. My friends are amazing because they let me take pictures of them all of the time.

Name Change

So I have been tossing names back and forth for a couple of months and I have finally decided to go with my married last name instead of my middle name. It just seemed more appropriate. :) So officially, this is the blog for Holly Hanners Photography!

Brides

These are from some of the weddings I have done over the past couple of years. There aren't very many but hopefully that will change!

We took our dog Allie to the lake yesterday and she discovered that she could swim! It was hilarious, we couldn't keep her out of the lake. We had to pick her up and put her back in the car when it was time to go because she wouldn't get in the car. Lol! I got some really great action shots and some cute ones of Justin playing with her.

Experimenting with Light

So a couple of months ago I got the idea in my head that I was going to try light painting. So, I bought a good tripod, did some research and decided to give it a shot. I know my neighbors had to think we were crazy because of all of the flashes of light in my living room! This is the best I could come up with. But maybe after a LOT of practice they will start to look better. :)

Playing with Photoshop

My friend Danielle is absolutely beautiful inside and out and the camera loves her. Which is great because she loves the camera! I took some shots of her and experimented with photoshop some. I was rather pleased with the results.

Pictures are my passion. Plain and simple. I remember the first camera I ever had. I received it as a birthday present when I was around eight years old. It wasn't anything special, just a cheap 35mm point and shoot. I would take pictures of anything that would stand still long enough for me to catch it on film! My love affair with photography has been going strong ever since. My cameras are a lot nicer now and I have more resources available, but being behind a camera still makes me feel like that giddy little eight year old girl. I am not sure how much talent I actually have, but I what I am sure of is this, I love taking pictures. And I love the rewarding feeling I get when I see someone blessed by the work that I do.
